Under 13 Lacrosse Tour

On Friday 2nd October the Packwood Under 13 Lacrosse team set off for Gloucestershire on a two-day tour. The girls played opponents at Westonbirt School, near Tetbury on Friday and then, after a night in Stroud, travelled to Cheltenham Ladies' College for a final match on Saturday 3rd. more...

Under 9s come close

On Wednesday 30th September, the Packwood Under 9 football team returned to the Prestfelde Tournament to defend their title. They started off superbly, winning their group in convincing fashion with victories against Prestfelde 'B' (4-0), Abberley Hall (5-0), West House (2-0) and King's Chester (1-0). more...

Long Mynd Walk

On Sunday 4th October, a small but intrepid group of hill walkers tackled the peaks of the Long Mynd in South Shropshire. Having already 'notched up' the Stiperstones and Caer Caradoc on previous trips we set out from Cardingmill Valley on a beautiful autumnal day and were rewarded with fantastic views when we reached the higher points. more...

Packwood Fencers in Trophy battle

Over fifty fencers were locked in combat on Tuesday 13th October in the Sports Hall as Wrexham Fencing Club came to Packwood for their annual Weston/Norfolk Trophy match. With several fencers in the British rankings, both teams fancied their chances. more...
