Great Escape weekends
3rd October, 2011
You know there really was a time before PS3 – before Xbox, Wii and MP3. It’s hard to imagine now, but once upon a time children really did grow up without a single silicon chip anywhere near them. But then, go back just a little further still and apparently they even managed life without TV. I mean, really, what kind of childhood was that?
Packwood’s answer to this question is to be found with The Great Escape Company. This is an outfit which certainly fulfils its mission of giving children the chance to do it for real; to make fires, build rafts, bridge rivers and so much more.
So far, over two weekends, sixty Packweeds have been on Great Escape camps and they have all returned muddy, shattered and utterly satisfied. This is a brilliant company offering a fantastic experience. We will definitely be going again.
