2009-10 has been an exceptional year of academic achievement for pupils at Packwood. Not only have they achieved the highest number of scholarships and awards in the school’s history (35 in total), but it is has also been a record breaking year for Common Entrance results.
Looking back to years past for comparison, Headmaster Nigel Westlake writes ‘Back in 2001, 33% of all grades were A, and we have not been able to beat that since…until this year when a fantastic 40% are A grades! Also this year a total of 70% of grades are A or B, another record. These results represent a tremendous all-round achievement. Well done!’
‘Furthermore, every pupil in the final year has won a place at their first choice senior school and we wish them all the very best as they embark on the next stage of their academic career.’
