County netball win

On Wednesday 10th February Packwood's 1st VII netball team took part in the Under 13 Shropshire County Netball Tournament at Sundorne Sports Village in Shrewsbury.

Packwood competed in the Trophy competition which was organised as a round robin and saw the girls play against seven top Shropshire school netball teams.  After some closely fought matches the Packwood team was undefeated and crowned Under 13 County Champions 2010.

Packwood netball coach, Leanne Willis, was delighted with the girls' outstanding performance in particular their speed, accuracy and quick thinking which made them formidable opposition for all the other teams. 'The girls played brilliantly as a team and thoroughly deserved their success. They have been a fantastic group to coach and this tournament victory is testament to the effort, hard work and enthusiasm they have displayed througout the season.'
