Lacrosse girls win again!

The Packwood Under 12A lacrosse team continued their successful season with victory in their home tournament on Saturday 27th February.

The competition was run as a round robin with each team playing five games of eight minutes each way. The Packwood As stormed through to victory in all of their games scoring 32 goals and conceding none!

Lacrosse coach Sue Draper writes: 'The attacks played with confidence throughout and our midfield was sound, with our opponents rarely given a chance to shoot. The Packwood B squad gave the girls their toughest challenge with Cassie Bedford, their superb goalkeeper, saving shot after shot and limiting the As to a 2-0 win.

Charlotte Edwards and Maddie Hall, in particular, distinguished themselves and were the players of the tournament. All of the A team girls were jubilant with their success and I was delighted with their high standard of play.'
