Junior Boarders tackle The Crocky Trail

8th October, 2009

There is always a busy programme of events and activities for the Packwood boarders to enjoy at the weekends and last Sunday a group of junior children, accompanied by Mr and Mrs Bourne, spent a very happy afternoon at The Crocky Trail near Chester.

The trail is a sort of elaborate adventure playground comprising a bewildering variety of ingenious obstacles arranged around a one-mile course. Within moments of arriving, the children were hurtling down enormous slides, disappearing down black holes and being flung off roundabouts. Then it was on to a replica of a sinking Titanic, where the aim was to hang on for as long as possible.

The afternoon continued in a similar vein with the children enjoying mazes, swings, wobbly bridges, tunnels and lots of mud and water. All ended the day dirty and tired, but happy!
