From Cape Town to Ruyton XI Towns!

This term we welcome a new member of staff, Franscois Adams, who comes to Packwood from South Africa.

Franscois has joined the maths department and is teaching children from the 4s (Year 5) upwards, including a Common Entrance set of pupils in their final year. He is also an experienced sports coach who will be training the 4th XI football team and the 3rd XV rugby team.

Franscois previously taught at Reddam House Preparatory in Cape Town and said “I am very happy to be joining Packwood and looking forward to the new challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. This is a great school with an excellent reputation and I am very excited to have the chance to contribute to its on-going success.”

“The children and staff have all made me feel welcome and the school is a lovely place to live and work. The grounds and surrounding countryside are beautiful, though very different from home, and I am looking forward to exploring the local area. “
