Making more of the dining room

29th September, 2009

As part of our extensive on-going programme of improvements and updates to Packwood facilities a major refurbishment of the dining room was carried out during the summer holidays.

The room has been opened up to give a much larger area and the space to spread out the dining tables meaning the children have much more room around them. There is also now space for a separate salad bar giving all a choice every day of at least two hot meal options or a baked potato and salad. We are committed to providing a wide range of healthy, nutritious meals and the improvements to the dining room have helped us ensure the children are able to choose what they like quickly and easily. The fresh paintwork, new servery counters and other finishing touches have all helped to complete the project and the whole room is now spacious, light and airy – a pleasure to eat in for both staff and children.
