Teaching at Packwood Haugh is mainly traditional in style. High standards are expected and with an average of only 13 children per form, each child has every chance to fulfil his or her academic potential.

We operate a flexible streaming system, with subject setting in the final years, so that the teachers are able to pitch the work at the right level.

There are specialist subject rooms for all disciplines as well as a regularly updated ICT facility. Each classroom is linked to the school IT network, and children are able to access subject websites and other information stored on the school intranet.

Packwood Haugh has a 100% success rate at the Common Entrance examination and in recent years scholarships have been won to Cheltenham, Cheltenham Ladies’, Ellesmere, Eton, Gordonstoun, Harrow,  Monmouth, Moreton Hall, Queen Margaret’s York, Shrewsbury, Radley, Rugby, and Winchester
